The Hirer of the vehicle shall be responsible for the conduct of all passengers and any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle on hire, including fouling. We reserve the right to invoice directly (7 day payment terms) or make a charge + VAT to The Hirer's credit/debit card for any losses, repairs, replacements, or valeting costs resulting from damage or fouling to the vehicle or its fixtures caused by passengers. The Hirer will be billed accordingly to reinstate the vehicle to full working order and any sub sequential losses.
Fouling/Vomiting Charge
For any passenger causing excessive fouling or soiling inside the vehicle, The Hirer will be charged for valeting of the vehicle. Excessive soiling is when the car is unusable for the next client and cannot be easily rectified by the chauffeur with equipment provided in the vehicle.
Charges = £70 minimum, and up to a maximum of £150 depending on severity and loss of business caused.
Additional Damage
We recommend you allow the chauffeur to open the car door as any damage caused to the door opened by any passenger will be the responsibility of The Hirer.
Unscheduled variations to the agreed times and or itinerary may incur additional costs. We reserve the right to invoice directly (7 day payment terms) or charge to The Hirers' credit/debit card the additional costs incurred due to variations to the original schedule.
All passengers are required by law to wear the seat belts provided in the vehicle.
Hire Cancellation Refunds (excluding account customers)
• More than 48 hours prior to departure time – Full refund (plus any additional costs incurred)
• Less than 48 hours prior to departure time – £25 charge (plus any additional costs incurred)
• Less than 24 hours prior to departure time – 50% hire charge (plus any additional costs incurred)
• Less than 3 hours prior to departure time – 100% hire charge
Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at the customer's address or destination punctually The Company shall not be liable for late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond its control. (i.e. breakdown, severe weather, traffic incidents, traffic congestion etc.). In such cases The Hirer will be contacted as soon as possible. In the event where a vehicle cannot arrive for the booking as a result, every effort will be made to offer The Hirer alternative transport. It shall ultimately be The Hirer's responsibility to allow adequate time to reach their destination. We always recommend that Travel Insurance be taken out where appropriate.
Animals may be carried in customer’s specialist pet carriers that provide protection to the vehicle at a charge of £10 per animal (Excluding Guide, Hearing Dogs and other Assistance Dogs, which are carried Free of Charge). Notification must be given at time of booking.
